A Spiritual Walk for All Eternity…

A spiritual walk lasts more than a lifetime…

In the beginning, your spiritual walk can begin as early as when you are first born or shortly thereafter, with your baptism.  And yes, it involves God, but more specifically, the Triune God; one God in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.  A true spiritual walk with God must include Jesus Christ, the Son of God; to omit Him, is to omit God from your walk.

In the Bible, our spiritual guidebook, Jesus Himself tells us “He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father which hath sent Him” (John 5:23).  We need our Lord Jesus Christ to help with our spiritual walk.  In the Bible, Jesus says “I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me”, (John 14:6).  Without Jesus, we will simply live out our life here on earth and not continue onward to Heaven to spend eternity with God. The Bible states “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), and since we are all sinful at our very nature, we need to be cleansed by Jesus’ blood before we have salvation and continue our eternal walk with the Almighty.  Trying to be good and righteous is simply not enough, we cannot earn our salvation, no matter what we do.  The Bible states  “all our righteous acts are like filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6).

Our salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, and as a believer in Christ, a Christian, you should want to do and act as Jesus Himself would do.  Ask yourself, what would Jesus do (WWJD) or what would He think about what I am doing?  The Bible further states, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life”, (John 3:16).  God loves us so much that He sent his only Son, Jesus Christ to die on our behalf redeeming us and washing away our sins so we may continue our journey onward to walk with Him.  We simply must believe that Jesus Christ is the way and the truth and the life.  We must have faith, in spite of what may happen to us or our loved ones while we live out our lives here on earth. Remember, we are only here for such a short amount of time (80 to 90 years if lucky), then comes the eternity…forever and ever and ever…it is a very long time.

Can you even imagine what it will be like to enjoy a spiritual walk with Jesus, the Son of God?  Just you and Him strolling to go visit God the Father? That indeed is a spiritual walk I am looking forward to. I pray you seek out the Triune God in the one true spiritual guidebook, the Bible.  I pray you believe that Jesus Christ is your Savior and was sent by God the Father to die for your sins and has saved you for all eternity.  I pray the Holy Ghost enters your heart and continues to help your faith continue to grow and keep you on the one true path.  I pray that one day soon, you walk with God, for all eternity!

Are You An Entrepreneur?

Are you an Entrepreneur?

An entrepreneur is generally someone that comes up with an idea and takes that opportunity to start, organize and grow it into a business or businesses.  The big question we may ask ourselves is, do we have a good idea, the skills and the desire to become a successful entrepreneur?

Just what skills do you possess?  Some underlying skills usually found in an entrepreneur include being an innovator or generator of new ideas or business processes, no matter what the industry. Strong team building and people management skills are also often found in a successful entrepreneur.  Recognizing your own skills and matching them against the skills needed to successfully run your business is certainly helpful as a skill as well.  A good entrepreneur also will simply hire others with the skills they lack.

What about genetic makeup?  Do men or women make better entrepreneurs?  Does it matter if entrepreneurship runs in your family?  If it does, would that make you a better entrepreneur?

What about your work history?  Does that added experience of doing the job you have been doing improve your chances for being a successful entrepreneur? What about your intellect, personality or identity?  Does who you are improve the chances of success for a business you may start?  What about your past successes and failures, do they?

The truth is, that if you take an idea and create a successful business from it using all available skills, you would be considered an entrepreneur.  Being called an entrepreneur certainly may not be your goal.  It is only a descriptive title.  What you may want to be seen as is a successful business person.  In fact, you may not care at all how others see you, and simply want to create the successful business around your idea and opportunity and enjoy your small businesses success.  To me, that is a sign of a true entrepreneur.

You May be  an Entrepreneur…

  • A Significantly high number of entrepreneurs are children of first generation Americans.
  • Successful entrepreneurs are not, as a rule, top achievers in school.
  • Entrepreneurs are not especially enthusiastic about participating in group activities in school.
  • Studies of entrepreneurs show that, as youngsters, they often preferred to be alone.
  • Enterprising activities usually can be traced to an early age.
  • Stubbornness as a child seems to translate into determination to do things your own way which is a hallmark of successful entrepreneurs.
  • Caution may involve an unwillingness to take risks, a handicap for those embarking on previously uncharted territory.
  • Entrepreneurs often have the faith to pursue different paths despite the opinions of others.
  • Being tired of a daily routine will often precipitate an entrepreneur’s decision to start an enterprise.
  • Entrepreneurs generally enjoy their type of work so much, they move from one project to another-nonstop.
  • Successful entrepreneurs are willing to use their savings to finance a project.
  • Many entrepreneurs make a habit of putting their goals in writing.
  • Handling cash flow can be critical to entrepreneurial success.
  • Entrepreneurial personalities seem to be easily bored.
  • Optimism can fuel the drive to press for success in uncharted waters.

These are also some critical skills needed by an entrepreneur to be successful at developing an opportunity into a business:

  • Focus
  • Vision
  • Leadership
  • Persistence
  • Passion
  • Technical Skills
  • Flexibility
  • Self Discovery
  • Ability to Learn

The world needs people to turn ideas and opportunities into small businesses and they exist all over.  Capitalize on yours and you may yet enjoy the benefits being a successful entrepreneur can bring.

How Can Life Coaching Really Help Me?

How Can Life Coaching Really Help Me?

One of my favorite definitions of the word insanity is “to continue doing the same thing, yet expecting different results”.  That little definition says volumes to me, and should to each of us.  Just think about that word and apply it to your Life Long Plan…ohhh, that’s right, you don’t have one.  Well, how insane is it for you to dream of things you want to do, places you want to visit, changes you want to make in your life or a person you want to become and then get up each morning and go off to work and expect that somehow, your dreams will get accomplished.  Without a plan, without taking any action and without the help of someone getting you started in a direction, any positive direction and then help you stay the course.  Is that not insanity?

How insane is it to try to live a life without “ANY” type of planning?  How insane is it to figure things out all by yourself and not use a coach to show us how to develop a plan for our life and then help us accomplish it?   Life coaches are here for all of us to use and more and more are coming online every day.  Make sure to explore on how you can get started with a life plan and find a coach that will help you stay on course, accomplish your goals and live more of your dreams.

Really, we should not be asking how can life coaching help me, we should be more concerned about, what will happen to me without any life coaching?  Without a Life Plan?

www.LifeLongU.com has developed a nice get started pack called “Self Discovery” and it will help you learn more about yourself and should get you really thinking.  Give it a try, …this could be the first action step in your life plan…don’t just get up and go to another day of work…take some action!

It’s your life, make sure you live it!!!
